His name is Rick Blacksher and he hails from Citrus Heights, California. He D.J.s and produces under the name X-cile. He does mostly Dubstep/Deathstep/Metalstep with a metal twist but he also dabbles in different genres to keep things exciting. His influences include Kill the noise, Skrillex,Snails,Getter,Zeds Dead,Excision, Slander,Ngtmre,Code Pandorum, Sullivan King, Kayzo and Phaseone.He has been involved in the music scene pretty much all his life. He started out in metal bands, first playing drums then moving to vocals. Once he went to his first event EDC 2010, he fell in love with the rave music and culture. When he moved to Sacramento , he decided to start X-cile in 2018. He DJed his first event at bass therapy 2018 which he won a dj contest where he opened for Cherney after releasing his first single Drop Dat. In 2019 he released his debut E.P. called Haunted. After playing a few shows locally , he won a dj contest to open a festival for Xaebor and Codd Dubs in 2019. He has been putting out consistent music since and has another new single out now called Drowning. His booking price is $200 a show.
